Will I get the exact same design, finish and fabric as shown online?

Our designs evolve over time and there may be some variation in angles, elements, the material used, etc. compared to what is seen online. 
Each furniture being individually handmade may have minor variation in size, shape, and finish. 
Wood being a natural product have different grains and reacts differently to staining. Hence, the final color, grains & appearance may differ from photograph or sample shown. 
Fabrics used in the furniture items are subject to their availability which will be confirmed post receipt of the payment.

In which cities do you deliver?

We can deliver our furniture to any place in India. For overseas delivery, you need to check with us beforehand as delivery is subject to customs regulation.

How long does it take for delivery?

All the pieces are made to order taken into consideration the clients requirement. However we aim to manufacture and deliver the piece to the client within 45-60 days once the payment is received.

What are the charges for delivery?

The shipping cost is dependent on the volume of the furniture and the distance of your city from Gujarat. The shipping cost will be calculated at the time of finalizing your quotation.

My shipment is delayed. What can I do?

Once shipped, generally, a third party (transporter) is responsible for the delivery. You could check the status of the shipment from the tracking tool on this site. For any further information, you could write to info@needapod.com 

What payment options are available?

We accept online payment options of net banking and also accept cheque payments.
Cash on delivery is not available.
All goods are dispatched only after receipt of full payment.

I could not complete my payment transaction, how will I know if the payment went through?

Every successful transaction will result in an email and SMS confirmation. If you did not get either of these, you could try the payment again. 

 

Cancellation and refunds

Is it possible to cancel my order?

Cancellations are not permitted once the order is placed.

When are the returns permissible and under what conditions?

Returns will be accepted only for damaged/ defective products. You need to inform us of any damages/defects within 10 hours of delivery of the product to receive a replacement. The returned product should be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received. Please get in touch with our Customer Care representative with order ID and images of damaged product/s. In case you have opted for an insurance from the third party delivery vendor , they will be responsible for the reimbursement.

How and when will I receive the refund?

We will process your refund within 7 business days of receiving the returned product in its original packaging. All refunds will be issued through the same transaction mode used in the original purchase.

How can I place an order / inquire?
Beside every product is a Request a Quote button, write us a mail or call us on the number mentioned on our "contact us" page to place an enquiry.


What do I need to keep in mind when placing an order for a swing?
Once you have placed an enquiry, we will ask you general questions like the floor to ceiling height, location of swing, structural slab certification from your contractor. These are critical for us to ensure our swings fit well in your space. Do feel free to send us an image of the space and your AutoCAD drawing, we will be happy to superimpose the piece in the space and send it to you.

P.O.D. Pieces of Desire LLP warrants that each of its products is free from defects in material and/or workmanship. Subject to the limitations and exclusions herein, P.O.D. Pieces of Desire LLP, at its sole discretion under the limited 12 months warranty, will either replace or repair a manufacturing defect with comparable product or components.

Wood being a natural material will have some flaws, variation in color/grains, or imperfections, which is considered part of its natural beauty. Natural variations in color, knots, stress marks, etc. are not considered defects of workmanship and materials. Wood surfaces are subject to denting, scratching, etc. if not properly used and cared for. Users should also be aware that all surface finishes mellow with age. Metal and Brass shouldn't be handled with direct water and chemicals.


We strongly recommend not to use our products in the outdoors with direct sunlight and rain or in areas with high chemicals in the air.

Limitations, exclusions, and conditions of Warranty


    1  The warranty begins with the date of delivery.
    2  P.O.D. Pieces of Desire LLP requires proof of purchase from the original buyer.
    3  P.O.D. Pieces of Desire LLP must be notified of any defect within 10 hours of receiving the product and given an opportunity to remedy it; any remedial work carried out by a third party will nullify this warranty.
    4  The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, dents or scratches or usual deterioration that occurs during the course of regular use. Fading, knots opening, cracking and splitting due to normal expansion and contraction of wood on its reaction to climatic changes in its environment is deterioration expected over a period of time and are not covered in the warranty.
    5  It requires that the product should not have been misused or handled carelessly and has not been wilfully damaged, neglected or used in abnormal conditions, fire, flood, weather, relocation, etc. For example, chairs should be used for sitting purpose and leaning back on its two legs can damage the furniture. Tables should not be used for standing or sitting on. Damages arising from any misuse, force or mishandling are not covered. Swings should not be jumped on or stood on or rocked violently.
    6  It requires that the product has not been modified, altered or transformed in any way.
    7  Hardware malfunctioning that requires setting changes, such as that of drawer channels and hinges of doors, loosing of the screw, etc., are not covered in the warranty.
    8  Drawers/doors may run tight or lose due to high variation in humidity and temperature in the surrounding atmosphere. These are not covered under warranty.
    9  Appropriate maintenance must be carried out in accordance with P.O.D. Pieces of Desire LLP’s care instructions. P.O.D. Pieces of Desire LLP will not be responsible for any defects due to the application of any treatment product that is not recommended by P.O.D. Pieces of Desire LLP.
    10  If a product or it's part has to be replaced and that particular product or part is no longer available, P.O.D. Pieces of Desire LLP reserve the right to use an alternative similar product or part.
    11  Wood finishes and upholstery fabrics are not warranted as care as well as the environment in which it is used generally has more influence on the performance and life of the product.
    12  These Limited Warranties provide coverage to the original purchaser and do not apply to rented or commercial uses.
    13  Damage caused by the carrier in-transit will be handled as per the norms of the carrier and insurance agency. Such damages should be notified on the same day as receipt of the goods and should be notified to the delivery agent at the time of delivery.
    14  All furniture should be opened and checked for any defect/damage. Any such issue should be notified within 10 hours of receipt of goods. No claim after 10 hours will be considered. If the furniture is not going to be used for a long time, it is desirable that they should be opened and kept in a safe and cool place to avoid accidental and heat damage.
    15  The return of goods in case of in-transit damage should be in the original packing received by the customer.
    16  The cost of transportation of goods to be repaired or replaced is to be borne by the customer except for replacement due to in-transit damage notified if notified at the time of the delivery.


NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY HAS BEEN MADE OR WILL BE MADE ON BEHALF OF P.O.D. Pieces of Desire LLP WITH RESPECT TO THE FURNITURE AND ITS PARTS, OR THE OPERATION, REPAIR, OR REPLACEMENT OF THE FURNITURE AND ITS PARTS.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

CARE & MAINTENANCE

To ensure optimum durability of the furniture, following advice on the use, care and maintenance of furniture and various furniture materials must be followed.

ENVIRONMENT
Solid wood furniture, unless specifically recommended for outdoor use, is not recommended in direct sunlight, near to heat sources or in rooms which sees temperature swings. These result in stresses in the glued connections and in furniture plates which can result in splitting and cracks.

CLEANING
Top surfaces can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Solvents or chemicals should not be used.

UPHOLSTERY FABRIC
Dirt and dust in the fabric increases break down the fibers and greatly shorten its life. Weekly cleaning with a soft brush inhibits degradation and increases longevity.
